Represents an emission spectrum of an exoplanet atmosphere.

Stores wavelength grid, emitted flux (or planet-to-star flux ratio), and uncertainties.

Parameters:
  • wavelength (array-like) – Wavelength array in microns.

  • flux (array-like) – Emitted flux or flux ratio at each wavelength.

  • err (array-like, optional) – 1-sigma uncertainty on flux. If None, assumed uniform 0.

  • target_name (str, optional) – Exoplanet identifier (e.g., ‘WASP-43 b’).

  • instrument (str, optional) – Observing instrument.

  • resolution (float, optional) – Spectral resolving power R = λ/Δλ.
